How Boaters Are Impacted By Fuel Prices

As part of my on-going series, "From Wall Street to Main Street," which is shining the spotlight on how the economy is affecting smalltown America, yesterday I conducted a survey at two yacht clubs in Hull, Massachusetts to see how the price of fuel impacts boaters. Hull is a small community located almost halfway between Boston and Cape Cod.

While the results were not too surprising, one boater pointed to some lobster boats that were anchored at the Nantasket Beach Salt Water Club, telling me the price of fuel is preventing them from making as many trips as they used to -- and we'll all likely be paying more for lobsters as a result.

Enjoy the video.
