The Street Will Be Watching Wal-mart & Google on Thursday

I predict lots of people on “The Street” will be buzzing at higher-than-normal decibels on Thursday over Wal-Mart and Google.
Google’s stock is up 21 percent over the past three weeks, and today is there annual meeting.
Piper Jaffrey’s managing director, Gene Munster, who is a market maker for Google, was on CNBC’s Fast Money after the market closed Wednesday and indicated he’s hoping to hear Google executives discuss two other companies —  DoubleClick and YouTube — at their meeting.
Meanwhile, lots of major retailers will be reporting their April sales on Thursday — and the major name to watch for is Wal-Mart, which has attracted a lot of bullish options trading lately. Some have been betting on people using the majority of their rebate checks at this mega-retailer.
